Wednesday it is.

So here we are at the high point of the week. What are your plans for the rest of the week? Here at Think Bolivar Community Project we are working everyday to help promote our local community and would love to have everyone in Bolivar sharing ideas with us and each other on what more we could do to help assist local businesses grow.

One thing I would like to see happen is more venues and functions going on for the teenagers in this community as well as something more for the college students. My wife started a little get together club for a few students at our house on Tuesdays for a GLEE night where they all have dinner and watch GLEE. I think this is a great idea and it also gives us some ideas on what is going on in their world and things we can do to facilitate functions and events that can entertain our youth.

Local churches have youth nights and events and we would love to hear more from them and what they have going so we can help promote these functions.

We hope that you all have a blessed second half of the week and we pray that God will guide you all and keep you safe.

Out and about in Bolivar

Well if you are out and about in Bolivar and looking for a good place to eat, I suggest you check out the new Simon B's Restaurant on 32 W located at 1913 W Broadway street. The restaurant is under new management and has been going through some renovations. They are starting a fine dining section in the banquet room which is going to be a great change for Bolivar and allow people to eat out locally instead of doing the long trip to Springfield to take your loved one out for a nice fine meal and maybe a glass of wine with your meal.

Keep up with the latest news and happenings at Simon B's on their website or on Facebook.

Take some time to visit the new Simon B's

Is the BBB good for business?

I had a deal today regarding the BBB and the company I work for. It amazes me how someone like the BBB can go ahead and post stuff on their website that just defames a company when they for one do not even have their facts straight. Now I am talking about the BBB in St. Louis Missouri in particular and to Mr Bill Smith, Investigator, 314-584-6727, tpc1@stlouisbbb.org

Dude you need to get all your facts correct and your ducks in a row before you make the claims and accusations that you did on your website posting regarding the company I work for. I have worked for them for several months now and firstly they are totally Independent from Homestead and anything that went on there. Maybe you should come on down to our office and meet with the people that work here and talk with us before hurting the company and the people that work here with your misinformation.

I think the BBB better start reviewing the people they employ because this sort of thing is really unacceptable.
