The Weekend is here.

Yes folks it is Friday and the weekend is here. This past week has really been an interesting one with a good few "eye openers" and there are a few things I really want to share with everyone.

I think the week started for a lot of people including our household with the hype of the Power Ball drawing and the huge jackpot. And yes we were one of those families that go out on a regular basis and buy a ticket with the hopes of winning it big. Then on Wednesday before the drawing took place I heard something that really disturbed me, but before I get into that I want to let you know that we do consider ourselves to be a christian family and I do call myself a man of God and of Faith.

With that said, the thing that I heard that disturbed me was that the majority of lottery tickets that are bought are from people that are in the low income earning bracket. That is households that earn less than $25k per year and that they spend 9% of their income on lottery tickets per year.( that is over $2200 per year) With the odds of 1 in 175 million chance of winning, that is very sad to say the least.

The second thing I heard and this hit me like a rock is that many people actually will pray asking God to give them the winning ticket to help them out. Well when you look at a few things in life ( how we have excluded God from everything around us) and the fact that the lottery is gambling and theoretically you are taking from the poor to become rich ( which I might add goes totally against scripture), I personally do not think God wants any part of that and so should you play it and win, you are a pure statistical winner and you happened to have the correct combination that day. It has nothing to do with God.

I am not condemning the lottery and saying it should be banned (Unless we find out that they really do nothing to help education), I am just saying that more people need to sit down and really give it some thought before throwing away that dollar instead of saving it. Putting it in a dollar figure with the ticket now costing $2, you have a 1 in $350.000.000.00 chance of winning. I think I have made up my mind that saving that $2 per ticket will do more good for me in the long run :)

Those are my thoughts and views for the week. I would love to hear your views on it and you can do that by leaving comments below or on FaceBook

I pray you all have a fantastic weekend and God Bless.

Have you thought about living organic and going green?

So I have been sitting here and just giving it some thought.

What is really stopping people from seriously working on going green and living organic and I think it boils down to all of us just being lazy and comfortable in our current living conditions. You see it takes some work to change out light bulbs, get off the couch to turn lights off that are on and not necessary to be on. We continuously let the water run when rinsing off dishes to then go ahead and put them in the dishwasher instead of filling the sink and rinsing dishes before putting them in a dishwasher (We are guilty of that big time). There are so many ways that if we all just did a small part it would start making a big impact.

I am all for saving the environment and leaving something to future generations, but unless we all start acting in a positive way we are not going to achieve this.

I would really love to hear from people about what they are doing or what ideas they have for making things better. I am talking about small town ideas that can be put into practice and then developed into a larger scale. If anyone knows of any organizations that would or can donate to a project like supplying people with a few energy efficient light bulbs to help out with energy conservation would be a great start.

If there are any businesses that would like to start by purchasing an energy saving device to put on their buildings I have the perfect device, just get a hold of me and I will mail you a brochure. This device can save you up to 50% on your current energy bill.

We also need to think about out towns and the general waste and trash just being thrown about. This can and will end up poisoning the ground so we need to take action in creating and volunteering clean up teams. Sponsor your time to one of these. It gets you out in the fresh air and you are contributing to your community.

I would love to start up a community fruit and vegetable garden. If anyone in the Bolivar MO area is interested in doing this and contributing in any way to it please feel free to contact me and we can get together and share ideas to get this project off the ground.

Please feel free to contribute to this blog by leaving any comments or drop by our Facebook Page and become our friend by clicking on the "Like" button.

Let us see if we can start making a difference and setting an example for the community.

PCH Games and Draws

Well I was sitting here and realized that I had not really blogged anything in a while and just received an email from PCH (Publishers Clearing House) to participate in a Game Play and it dawned on me...... IF you do not have the money to purchase a bunch of junk and magazines from them, then your chances of winning anything at all go from slim to zero. The question is, is this just a scam to make you buy stuff?

How do I come to this conclusion?

Well lets see, I have participated in all aspects of PCH from mail in to online games and lotteries and have not one a single dollar in over 14 years. I have also never ever bought a single thing from PCH. Someone I read about had one from PCH and had spent tons of money buying into all their offers. I have also read about many people participating for 20+ years and never winning and also never purchased anything.

Moral of the story is this...if you are not going to spend money with them and buy what they have to offer you are not going to win. I now realize this but continue to play to beat the boredom at work....LOL

Have a great weekend and keep cool.

Bolivar Worm Farm

Update to our progress on the Worm Farm.

Things have been going really smoothly and we have already started to harvest castings which we will sell a limited amount and use the rest to starting our own organic garden. The worms are also reproducing well and we have offered live bait worms for sale from the website.

We have had a good response to our queries to businesses to recycle food scraps and waste and look forward to creating good business relationships within the Bolivar Business Community.

Follow us on Twitter, Facebook or on the Website for more information as we progress.

Remember the Flintstone's?

Not sure why, but for some reason today I remember the Flintstone's. I think it is because of all the "yabba Dabba doo" that I have listened to over the last week.

You see I have been on a quest to look for and find some online marketing program or software that I can try out to make a few extra bucks to try and get a small deposit together that my family and I need to purchase a house for ourselves. I have tried everything and been looking hard and praying a lot about it all.

The only thing I have discovered is a trail of similarities between all these so called online programs that are a "Money Magnet" for online profits. The similarity is they all were broke and on the verge of losing it all until they "Stumbled across", "Were introduced to" or just magically worked out the theory. The funny thing is that I have been online since the days of Bulletin Boards and dial up service only and I have tried many different things. I have not come up with a unique idea yet nor have I been financially able to create a "Money Magnet" that I could sell like a few of those people that had the bankroll to get it started.

Bottom line is this..... If you do not have the money to sink in a couple of thousand and join one of these programs that put you towards the top of the pyramid tier then you WILL NOT make any money by just sitting there and just "Hitting the switch" You will have to pay money over and over to try and find the method needed to make some money and then put more money into it to generate the traffic needed to your web page for the sales.

PEOPLE.....THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS "GET RICH QUICK" Lets all just step back for a moment and breathe deeply. Clear your mind and come back to reality. Unless you were born with a "Golden Spoon" in your mouth. So for all of us that were not that lucky, we fall victims to these "Internet Gurus" and like wise people praying on our need to make a living for our families.

Now the one thing that I know we all know about and sometimes just do not listen to is this:

1. If it is too good to be true then it probably is.
2. Start small and work your way up.
3. Help people out with what you are doing and the dividends pay off.
4. Give your idea all that you have if you want to be successful.
5. Success very rarely happens overnight.

So now that we are all on the same page, I am going to do everything I can to help you all out in any way that I can to make any money at all online. If I can succeed in helping people to make anything from $1 per day online without costing them 1 cent, then I am heading in the right direction.

The first think I am going to do is invite you all to follow my blog or signup on my email list to get all updates and tips free. Lets work to help one another make it on the internet.

Stay tuned for updates and I wish you all a great week ahead.

Ups and Downs

This has been one of those very up and down weekends. It has been one of those that has come to make me sit back and realize that no matter what the situation is, God always prevails and works things out in HIS way not our way. God is awesome.

One thing I can say with conviction is that we as human beings and live in sin need to start rethinking things over before we take action. This is true for everything we do, especially things we say. Words are a two edged sword  that once you swing it you can never take back the damage that it causes.

I have a refreshed faith in many things this evening and I am so grateful for God's Grace and Mercy on my family and myself as well as our church family. I do however want to pursue and hopefully plant a seed in our church for a place or venue that our older group of church members can hang out and share things together. I feel that sometimes I just want to hang with my own age group that has a little more life experience and not necessarily more spiritual experience.(Although that would be perfect)

So in closing my weekend ramble I just want to wish you all a fantastic weekend and may God guide you with wisdom.

God Bless.

It's Friday

The weekend is finally here.

This has been a very challenging week for me.
I am going to take this weekend and do some sincere soul searching. I have been taking a lot of flak and feel the need to strengthen and renew my communication interface with my Lord Jesus.

I wish you all a fantastic weekend ahead and hope that the weather is good and you can spend some time out and about.

God Bless.

WARNING...Stay away from Lexington Law Firm

So just over a month ago I signed up for credit services with Lexington Law Firm. After them setting me up I realized that there would be no way that I could afford doing this at this time and cancelled. They went ahead and closed the account etc. Today I get hit a payment and when I called them there is aparently nothing that I can do but suck it up and lose the money.

This is TOTAL BS and I encourage everyone to pass on this information and warn anyone that is looking for a credit repair company to NOT USE Lexington Law Firm. They are a bunch of rip offs.

Their website is

I am so mad and can spit fire at this moment which makes me even more mad because this is not the person I want to be. I need to take a break and go meditate and spend time in prayer with Jesus.

What a start to the weekend

I got woken up on Friday morning at around 5am with my wife writhing in pain next to me. She was not sure what it was except she had this stabbing pain in her upper abdomen. After a while nothing was helping so I made the decision to take her to the ER. Good thing we did that because she was having a gall bladder attack. Got her into the hospital and on antibiotics over night. Had the surgery this morning at 8am and things went really well with the surgery.

Now we have the week or so recovery from surgery and keeping kids quiet and calm.

Wishing everyone a great weekend.
God Bless.

Some People are ..... I just don't know

It always amazes me that other people can comment and insinuate things about you, but when you do the same then they Un-Friend you and block you. People say one thing and then do another.

Then they start posting things online about how they know all these people that can do favors for them. It makes me laugh....some people need to grow a pair and cut out the petty threats because you have NO CLUE who and what the person you are relating to knows.(Just saying) And yes when this is all over the names will be posted as it will just be common public knowledge.

LMAO and these are people that vote in this country.

Just want to let everyone know that yes I have been slacking with updates, but the current schedule is hectic and I have not had much time to look around and find interesting things to blog about :).

So keep checking in and may God Bless and Keep you all safe. Remember "God is Able"
